I'm going to make up the mnemonic for CSLL - LOU ate SARdines while he LIMPed to his CAR.
Leukemia
Sarcoma
Lymphoma
Carcinoma
Leukemias are cancers of immature blood cells in the bone marrow and tends to be a liquid cancer wherein the "tumor" is that the cells accumulate in large numbers in the bloodstream.
Sarcomas are cancers that originate (primary site --n.b. all cancers are named after their primary site so even if it is now in your lungs, if it started out in your pancreas it is called pancreatic cancer) in supporting tissues i.e. bone, cartilage, fat, connective tissue, and muscle.
Lymphomas (are as they sound) cancers that arise in the lymph nodes and immune system tissues.
Carcinomas (the most common type of cancer) are cancers of cells that cover internal and external body surfaces, e.g. lung, skin, breast, colon... (basically, cancer of organs).
